Why I Disappeared From Blogging — And Why I’m Starting Again

This post has been long overdue. And at this time, I will share with you one moment in my life of blogging when everything seemed negative.

There was a point in my life wherein I disappeared.

Not just from blogging—but from showing up consistently in my own life goals.

If you’re reading this and wondering where I went, why the posts stopped, or if this blog was quietly abandoned, the honest answer is simple: life happened, and I didn’t handle it as well as I wanted to. As they said, at times life becomes out of our control.

But there came a point also in my life that I stood up and started again.

Not perfectly.
Not confidently.
But deliberately.

When Motivation Runs Out but Life Doesn’t Pause

When I first started blogging, everything felt exciting. Ideas flowed. Hope was high. Every post felt like progress.

Then reality crept in.

Responsibilities increased. Moreover, other commitments also came long the way.
Consequently energy dropped.
Doubts got louder.

Some days, it felt easier to postpone writing than to face the uncomfortable truth that I wasn’t where I wanted to be—financially, emotionally, or professionally.

And so I told myself:

“I’ll write again when things settle down.”

They never did.

The Silent Weight of Falling Behind

What people don’t talk about enough is the quiet shame of inconsistency. To be consistent in everything we do is indeed a huge challenge.

You don’t fail loudly.
You fade slowly.

Days just gone by. Weeks pass.
Then months.
Then suddenly you’re avoiding the very thing that once gave you purpose.

I kept the blog though.
I just stopped believing in my momentum.

And that’s heavier than quitting.

Why I Didn’t Quit Completely

Here’s the truth that matters most:

I never deleted this blog.

Because somewhere deep inside, I knew this wasn’t over.

Every unfinished post, every draft left untouched, every missed opportunity—it wasn’t failure. It was pause. A long one, yes, but not a permanent one. What a sigh of relief when I realized that after every rainfall, the bright rays of the rainbow comes along.

If you’re reading this and you feel behind in life, I want you to hear this clearly:

Being behind does not disqualify you from restarting.

 What Changed This Time

This restart isn’t driven by hype. Nowadays this desire is driven by that willingness to share my time, ideas and experiences with others believing that in so doing, I am sharing this very LIFE in me.

Now the desire is driven by clarity.

I now understand that:

  • Consistency beats motivation
  • Small steps rebuild confidence
  • Progress doesn’t require perfection

I’m no longer waiting to “feel ready.”
I’m choosing to show up anyway.

And this blog will reflect that honesty. Sharing also with you some books that helped me reset my mindset:

What This Blog Will Be About Moving Forward

My Life Journey is not about pretending life is perfect.

It’s about:

  • Personal growth when you feel late
  • Rebuilding discipline after burnout
  • Finding meaning while still figuring things out
  • Faith, resilience, and practical self-improvement
  • Learning how to move forward—even slowly

This is a space for people who haven’t “made it” yet—but refuse to give up.

If You’re Restarting Too, You’re Not Alone

Maybe you stopped writing. Maybe you took a big U-turn in your life.
Maybe you paused your goals.
Maybe life knocked you down quietly.

This post is for you.

Restarting doesn’t mean erasing the past.
It means using it. It means learningn to look back and reroute our life to the better way.

And today, I’m choosing to use mine.

A Promise Going Forward

I can’t promise daily posts.
I can’t promise instant success.

But I can promise this:

I will keep showing up. I will nurture that element of positivity within me.
I will write honestly. And I will share my own life journey with you.
And as I rebuild this journey—let me do it one post at a time.

If you’re walking a similar path, stay with me.

We’re starting again. After all, life is ought to be shared with others.
Together.

Saying Goodbye to 2019

Saying goodbye is sometimes a difficult thing to do especially if we cherish those memories that go along with the event. And as we almost end the month of December now, maybe it is beneficial for us to think about how the year 2019 pass through.

What have we achieved so far during the course of this year? How did we spend most of our time month by month? Were we

generous enough to share our precious moment most notably with the special people in our life? Or where we were merely focused on things, activities, and others which were important to us and no one else? Let us rethink about all those moments and reflect on how could we possibly improve during the coming year.

When we close the door of this year 2019, let us welcome with much energy the new year 2020 and grateful to the chance of embracing another year, let us all say goodbye to the year that has been and with open arms and hearts, welcome the new year with much love and awe.

Do you believe in good karma?

Another week is almost starting now and are we ready to share our generosity with others for the coming days?

As we go through the events day in and day out, we at times feel the burden and stress of knowing the sad plight of our brothers and sisters here and there.

What this world then needs is PEACE. A Peace that is rooted in the very own deep of our senses. We have enough of these worldly sufferings and chaos caused by man's greediness and evil ways.

"Peace is not made in documents, but in the hearts of men."

Hence to spread this good karma, we need to feed ourselves with good and positive vibes everyday. Let us all become agents of change so that this world will become a place so worthy to live in. Let us all be positive contributors so that all those brothers and sisters who are suffering in pain, hunger, unfairness, and others may be freed and carried on to a world of happiness and peace.

Dealing with Daily Struggles

In our day to day experience and journey, we come to terms with situations that will gauge our goals and dreams in life. One of those is when we are struck with illness on some varying degrees. How then do we cope in such conditions? From my own experience, I'm totally aware that facing those struggling moments is not easy.

And from one person to the other, each one has his own approach in dealing with them. One can resort to submission and another person could be that strong to just face it fair and square. Yet no matter how we deal with them, what comes out as noteworthy at the end of the struggle is the amount of perseverance and strength that we attribute while we are on its midst.

Moreover, the way that we cope with those trying moments is at times dependent on those people surrounding us. Lucky we are if we have sufficient resources of contributory factors that could alleviate our predicaments.

However if we are living in an environment which is not that helpful and positive to us then most probably, the amount of struggle will become worse. Thus, it is always a constant blessing for all of us if we stay in such a healthy environment whether it is in our home or in a place of shelter. Consequently, the struggles brought along by negative situations like illness, problems could become lighter and source of growth.

Be Constantly Alive

As we end another week, we come in contact with wonderful memories and people that allow us to know deeper ourselves. And as I proceed with my own life cruise, it constantly made me amaze and awed to realise how great and wonderful life is.

With this inspiration in mind, allow me to share with you these two idioms that I borrowed from one blog.

"Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit comfortably on your shoulder.
But why bother with Happiness in the first place" -

"It is better to lead a worthy life with tears than a happy one lacking meaning."-

Source: http://anotherotherblog.wordpress.com/2012/05/11/quotes-and-idioms/

Through these two idioms mentioned beforehand focus on life and how to live it to the fullest. No matter how complicated at times life could be yet at the end of the day, it unceasingly unfolds itself as a very cherished gift from Somebody up there.

On the other hand, as human as we are, we tend to resort to submission when we encounter trials and conflicts however, when we also succeed in hurdling them, we shout in triumph and declare how lucky we are to "get up" from such falling. Just like the rainbow after each rain, our life is coloured and shaped by all daily events thus we are unrelentingly invited to share our gift of life to our neighbours, strangers, unknown personalities and all those whom we have journeyed hand in hand everyday.

That being so, let us all declare to the world, " We are so fortunate enough to be alive and being able to live each moment enabling us to fully unearth our potentials and giftedness."
