Have you ever wondered what exactly happened to our life? As we journey through life, let us then take a break every now and then in order to reflect on our past events. As we do that, we can realise that it is as if we are reading a book- the book of our life. With that reflection,  we should always be glad to be active participants of such journey. As we wake up each day, fresh and new learnings embrace us and they could help us proceed with our own development.

On the other hand, there is no such limit and boundary over our learnings. It only takes our commitment to participate fully in this journey which expect us to make a difference in our life. One noteworthy

in life is when we share our various giftedness with each other. As we go on with our everyday learnings, we also grow in our awareness over life's excellent stories.

As one writer would tell us, he said that " Self-education is, I firmly believe that the only kind of education there is." -Isaac Asimov.  One way or the other, we could agree with Isaac and that as we enter each day, we as a result start to learn new things that contribute colours to this wonderful journey. Numerous people have joined us in this journey most notably those significant others in our life.

Hence, as we go on with this trip called LIFE, may we also unceasingly reflect on Isaac's words above and let us be the best persons that we can be. As such, all of us can become agents of joy and growth for others.

Colours of Life

Have you ever wondered why are there different colours on a rainbow? In fact, a rainbow is composed of seven colours such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.  That when one colour is intertwined with the rest of those colours, this resulted to a magnificently designed rainbow.

According to Wikipedia, " a rainbow is a meteorological phenomenom that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicoloured arc."

One occasion, while watching a rainbow in the sky, a reflection  dawned on me about life itself. And I  realised that life on itself is a mix and interactions of so many factors. Colours of life could refer to the various stages and chapters that we can be in. Or these colours could also represent the various phases of emotions we come into experience each single day.

Moreover, while I consider myself and others as an active or passive onlookers of any rainbow, we could also take part either in a very crucial way or a mere participant on these colours of life. As William Ernest Henley said in his poem Invictus, "  ...I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul."....we also are responsible how to incorporate the different colours of our lives.

And it would never be the responsibility of others to check on our growth but rather, we are solely accountable on how we become in the future. Finally, others can only accompany us on this journey but the consequence to any choice that we will take will be our call. At the end of the day, it's us who either will make or break these colours of our life.
